Sharing Data Between Multifunction Devices

I'm considering installing Garmin GPSMAP MFDs in my boat. If I bought one with a built-in sounder and another without, would they be able to share sounder data via ethernet networking? Thanks, Ted.

Hi Ted,

Good question and you should like this answer: yes, a chartplotter/sounder can share sounder info with another chartplotter (without sounder port) so you can see the sounder info.  Jeff
