Battery Isolator for Lithium and Lead Acid

Question:

Hi, we saw you video about victron argo fet. We just bought an Lithium battery to replace our house lead-acid battery. We figure we cannot use that Argo FET to connect to our Lithium battery. Is there another Argo FET with an output1 to charge Acid and an output2 to charge Lithium?  - Helder

Answer:

Hi Helder, battery isolators and battery combiners do NOT regulate or change battery voltages. Both devices are either on or off. If a voltage is too low or too high, neither devices modifies the voltage to suit the battery needs. A DC to DC battery charger will do exactly what you want. They are a one battery to another one battery device, they are not one battery to two or three battery, here’s an example, https://www.victronenergy.com/dc-dc-converters/orion-tr%20smart   - Jeff
