I recently watched your video on how to install battery isolators specifically a Victron Energy isolator. In the video you said you weren't going to go into detail on why the smaller cable going to the starter "had" to be removed, to me that is very important because what is the point of people going out and getting this to charge multiple banks of batteries and once it is installed "correctly" how is it supposed to charge the said battery banks with out the alternator/engine running? - Dustin
Hi Dustin, sorry for the confusion. When installing a battery isolator the alternator positive is connected directly to the battery isolator. No other positive wires are connected to the alternator positive post. If present, remove the wire between starter solenoid and alternator positive post.
