What Is the Best Way to Deliver the Correct Charging Voltage to the Lithium House Bank on My Boat?

Question:

Hi Jeff. Matt  writing to you from Nova Scotia. Love your videos! Honestly they are the most informative videos on electronics on the web. I'm installing a lithium house battery bank on my J/133 sailboat with an internally regulated alternator run through an isolator to charge the starter and house batteries. Question: What is the best way to deliver the correct charging voltage to the lithium house bank? Wire a Sterling Battery to Battery charger downstream of the isolator on the house side?

Answer:

Thanks for your feedback, glad our content is resonating with you.  As you suggested, a battery to battery charging converter is a good way to give the Lithium batteries what they want. - Jeff
