Can I Use a MotoMaster Eliminator Brand Charger on My Inflatable Boat?

Hi Jeff, I just installed a Canadian Tire Eliminator Intelligent charger for the batteries we installed on our R.I.B. Are there any concerns about using this device (it's located in the aft section covered up near the batteries)?

Answer:

A marine charger is wired differently then a non-marine (land-based) charger. By having a non-marine charger you risk causing corrosion to your underwater metals when the charger is operating. I’d advise getting a proper marine charger.
