How to Wire the Alternator to the House Battery on My Boat?

I have increased my house bank to three AGM batteries from one. The factory configuration has the alternator output connected to the starter. My starter bank and house bank are connected with an ARC. To move the alternator output to the house side of the ARC is it as simple as removing the cable to the starter and adding a longer cable to the house side?  - John

Yep, you need to remove the positive connection between starter and alternator before connecting the alternator directly to the house battery battery bank. - Jeff
