Display Gauge on a Chart Plotter?

After watching your videos on NMEA 2000, I am reaching out to you for your service. I purchased a 2022 Highfield Sport 520 with an offset center console. It is powered by a Yamaha VMAX 115 and has an integrated 100 liter gas tank, Garmin VHF215 AIS, Fusion RA770 stereo, SiriusXM, and Garmin Echomap UHD 95SV. We were going to use the Yamaha 6YC as a display gauge but are considering adding a second Echomap 95SV (no transducer) to act as the display gauge? - Mike

Answer:

Most newer engines can interface directly with a marine chart plotter over NMEA 2000 to provide engine data.  However, they use of a gateway to make the data “translatable” to the NMEA 200 network/chartplotters.
