Charging a 24 Volt Battery?

Jeff, I diligently follow your videos and have learned enough to know when to ask for help. HELP!

My external bow thruster uses (2) 12v group 24 starter batteries in series (24v). These 2 batteries are charged by a 12v to 24v battery fed (engine battery) inverter. Recently both batteries were drained to 10v as they were not being charged. I fear they are pooched (technical term :) )  Can you recommend a better way to charge the 24v batteries?  - Richard

One of the best ways to recharge a 24 volt battery from a 12 volt battery is to use a DC to DC charging converter.
