PT38 Trawler - "Cerulean Sea"

After hearing a PYS presentation at the Royal Vancouver Yacht Club, Tom decided to have an electrical audit performed on his PT 38 trawler, Cerulean Sea, as he had some concerns about the boat's electrical system. He learned that the wiring, which had been done about five years earlier, needed to be improved; the work involved redesigning the DC system, adding proper fuses, where needed, and increasing the size of the wiring.

Tom says he was very impressed with the quality of PYS' work, which was completed quickly and efficiently, with no "billing surprises." And while he didn't require any follow-up work, he notes that Jeff always recognizes him when they meet at various boating functions and asks how the boat is running.

"Having an electrical audit is a good, inexpensive way of finding out if more work is needed on your boat," says Tom. "PYS enlightened me and eliminated any concerns about my electrical system."
