Beneteau Idylle 51 - "Brigadoon"

After reading about PYS in Pacific Yachting magazine, Geoff and Jon decided to contact them about upgrading the older electrical and electronics equipment on Brigadoon, their Beneteau Idylle 51. PYS gave them several options and helped evaluate and make decisions about what would be done, with safety being the first concern, followed by ease of operation. PYS then proposed a Simrad navigation system with integrated Broadband radar, NSE12 display, autopilot, AIS, and sounder. PYS went farther and also installed a SmartHub system for data and voice communication and Fusion 700 DVD system connected to a flat-screen. Geoff and Jon found their work to be very efficient and effective and say they feel more comfortable on the water knowing they have the systems they need for safe and enjoyable boating.

"I would absolutely recommend PYS to anybody for all their marine electronic needs." states Geoff.

They add that many technical specialists often have difficulty explaining things in lay terms, but that was certainly not the case with PYS, who made a point of describing their work in a clear and straightforward manner. In addition, PYS joined them on sea trials after the work was done, to make sure everything was working properly.
