October 2012- Pros:
- - Internet access up to 7.2 Mbps over 3G and 4G networks
- - Mobility on the water
- - One LAN and two phone ports
- Cons:
- - Requires a SIM card and Telus service plan
Standard Horizon Matrix AIS VHF
October 2011- Pros:
- - Excellent value
- - Built-in dual channel AIS receivers
- - Submersible IP-X7
- Cons:
- - Units AIS display limited to 10 targets
- - Some AIS/DSC features require GPS input
- - Larger than most standard VHF only radios
Intellian i4
October 2011- Pros:
- - Large antenna provides better reception
- - Provides HDTV reception
- - Built-in GPS for faster satellite acquisition
- Cons:
- - Requires an MIM to automatically switch between satellites
- - Large 20 inch dish may not fit on boats under 40 ft
Raymarine e7 Network Multifunction Display
August 2011- Pros:
- - Dual core main processor and dedicated graphic processor
- - Bright wide HybridTouch display
- - WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity
- Cons:
- - New product might need software update
- - Not network compatible with some older MFDs
- - Expensive
Raymarine i70 Instrument Display
August 2011- Pros:
- - The first instrument display with AIS repeater
- - Sunlight viewable 4 inch colour wide screen
- - Easy to read customizable instrument pages
- Cons:
- - Brand new software (may have program bugs)
- - Adaptor required for SeaTalk1 and N2K
- - Lacks many N2K PGNs from other vendors

Why does my Xantrex MS 3000W inverter/charger suddenly switch to invert mode (and stops charging) when I power the inverter/charger unit with my 10.5 KW Generator?
