Furuno BR500 BNWAS

The Furuno BR500 Bridge Navigational Watch Alarm System (BNWAS) is a bridge monitoring system that senses prolonged inactivity of the vessel’s officer. This alarm system can provide visual and audible alerts if it senses idleness when the officer does not interact with specified equipment, such as the radar or ECDIS. Alternatively, a button on the Timer Reset Panel can be pressed to trigger an officer’s presence. The BR500 is quite versatile for installation requiring only a single cable to connect the processor and control head.
