Camano 31 - Miranda
When Soren needed a new chartplotter (NorthStar M84) and sounder (Airmar P79) for Miranda, his Camano 31, he contacted Pacific Yacht Systems to do the installation. At the same time, Soren decided to get a new fridge for his boat. “The installation was superb,” he says. “I’m extremely happy with the great job PYS did.”

Soren says. Their service on Miranda was the best. Jeff knows his stuff; he’s not afraid to tell you what he thinks, and he’s usually right. Soren appreciated the time PYS took to explain the new electronics and show him how everything worked. And he finds his new system works more efficiently noting that the screen is much easier to see. “I don’t even need my glasses anymore,” he quips.
Q: 
I saw the presentation at the VBS and was impressed about the Navionics apps for 14.99. As of today, it looks like the iPad HD version is $50 or $60, while the iPhone version is still $15 and should work on my iPad 3. What would justify the differences? Do you think we generally need the iPad version?
