- - Keeps both circuits separate during normal operation
- - Ability to combine batteries in an emergency
- - Large electrical connectors in back
- Cons:
- - No alternator field disconnect
- - Not able to switch circuits individually
Blue Sea ML-Series Automatic Charging Relay
October 2011- Pros:
- - Allows manual paralleling of battery banks
- - 500 Amp continuous rating
- - No diode voltage drop associated with cheaper combiners
- Cons:
- - 3/8 inch studs does not easily accept ratcheting wrench
- - Large footprint compared to a standalone solenoid

If I have an older analog Shakespeare marine television antenna. I understand that shortly they will no longer be providing analog service, so do I upgrade or is there a converter I can purchase?
